Charlie Covert
Charlie Covert specializes in executive coaching, mentoring, leadership and growth culture development. He is focused on driving long term client value through leadership development, logistics strategy and execution. Charlie has over 35 years of extensive and diversified international supply chain management, sales, engineering, consulting, solutions, operational, fiscal, program management, and executive coaching expertise. Charlie is an executive leader with a demonstrated history of driving material financial results for our customers. He has hands-on experience as an innovative and strategic planner leading, directing, articulating, quantifying and advancing both strategic and tactical plans.
Charlie previously was Vice President, Customer Solutions at UPS. In that capacity, he was responsible for supply chain design, sustainability, and consulting for the automotive, industrial manufacturing, high tech, aerospace, government, and professional services sectors. Charlie worked with UPS customers to understand their supply chain strategy as it supported their business strategy. He led development of strategic and tactical alternatives, evaluation of business cases that drive customer value, and execution of the selected strategy.
Prior to UPS, Charlie performed logistics engineering functions for Sedlak Management Consultants and McDonnell Douglas. He also served in the Ohio and California Air National Guard.
Charlie served on the Board of Directors for Fast Radius, a manufacturing services company specializing in on-demand manufacturing, particularly 3D Printing. He also served on the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Conservancy. He also serves on the Integrated Systems Engineering Advisory Board for The Ohio State University. Charlie is active with American Corporate Partners mentoring veterans returning to the civilian job market.
Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
